During the last two wins over the Delaware Blue Hens and the Monmouth Hawks, Corey Fisher had scored 21 and 20 points respectively. He has also recorded 6 and 5 assists to go with the scoring.
Most importantly though, he has gotten those points efficiently. Against Delaware he went 7-13 from the field and 5-8 from the FT line. Against Monmouth he went 8-10 from the field and 3-3 from the line in just 29 minutes (tied for his lowest total of minutes on the year).
The argument can be made that this was inferior competition (and it certainly was), but for a guy who has struggled with his shot all year, it's a big step.
...This could be coming at exactly the right time as we have a stiff test against the Temple Owls on Thursday before heading into BIG EAST play...we're going to need Corey playing at that level to reach the goals that we want this season...
