After multiple weeks of travel and short weeks, going through my first 5-day week in a month has me struggling a bit. I feel like it should be Friday already, not Wednesday. So I've spent the past hour in a Google-frenzy for Villanova bits of information on the internets.
Here's a few things that will hopefully add a bit of value to your day:
- We'll start things off with some Anna Kournikova (who's quite attractive, if you didn't know) news. The tennis start was at The Pavilion on Tuesday for WTT match and took a ball right between her, uh, assets. Bob's Blitz has the scoop, video, and a dig on the Android phone. We've got the video here from user Mapexdrummer86 below.
More news after The Jump...
- My old pal greyCat over at Villanova By The Numbers just published a great post detailing what some notable names have been up to this summer, including Villanova's own Jay Wright, Jason Donnelly, Maalik Wayns, Mouphtaou Yarou, Dominic Cheek, Antonio Pena, Corey Stokes and Maurice Sutton and Markus Kennedy.
- Terence Thomas, a senior LB on the Villanova Football Team, was just named to the Buck Buchanan Watch List, given annually to the best defender in FCS. Thomas was 1st Team All-CAA selection and a 2nd-Team All-American last year. Congrats Terence!
- Scottie Reynolds is closing on a deal with the Phoenix Suns after being invited to their training camp, although he's also considering offers from other teams.

Pico Dulce of East Coast Bias is hosting a Summer BIG EAST Roundtable with some of us bloggers. Part 1 covers what we lost. Part 2 is now available, where we talk what we gained with our incoming recruits!
Enjoy!
