With summer camps and the AAU circuit on full-blast lately, there is a wealth of information out there about some of the nation's top recruits. Below is a compilation of some of the quick hits on Villanova's 2012 class and on Amile Jefferson, who is still on the 'Cats radar for 2012 -- if they can find him a scholarship.
Daniel Ochefu (2012 center)- He isn't a big-time athlete, but Ochefu has length and a feel for scoring around the basket. One of his best traits is that he doesn't try to play too fast and recognizes what is there for the taking. He held his own in matchups against Andre Drummond and Tony Parker.
Savon Goodman ( 2012 combo forward)- This high-level athlete has an insatiable motor and will be a tremendous fit at Villanova playing off their guard oriented scoring offense. He finishes day one as the No. 6 scorer in the camp.
Amile Jefferson (2012 combo forward)- Jefferson does his best work on the baseline and was effective throughout the day with slashing drives and offensive rebounding. He had a big scoring day, averaging 18 ppg to be the No. 2 scorer in the camp.
From Paul Biancardi's report at the CP3 Elite Point Guard Camp:
Ryan Arcidiacono (Langhorne, Pa./ Neshaminy)
2012, PG, 6-3, 185 pounds
College: Villanova
The future Wildcats PG showed why he is clearly one of the better point guards and players in this class. His handle is strong, and he understands when to use his speed and how to keep a defender off balance by changing his pace and direction with the ball. He has a crafty way of creating contact to score by lifting defenders off their feet with a shot fake. He also believes in himself, and it shows every possession.
CBSSports.com's Jeff Borzello has also been watching and tweeted the following about Daniel Ochefu and Amile Jefferson:

Yesterday, Tony Parker took it to Shaq Cleare in the morning, Daniel Ochefu at night. Now, he's scoring at will on Andre Drummond.

Amile Jefferson doing a good job finishing around the rim...baseline drives, transition dunks.
Alex Schwartz of Northstar Basketball also commented on Ochefu:

Rough outing for Daniel Ochefu. Still love his upside, though.
