This is the time of year when the Big East Conference match-ups for basketball are announced. Actual dates and times take longer, as many teams (including South Florida this season) play their home games in professional arenas and have to wait until the primary tenant(s) have set their dates.
As always, Villanova will play every Big East school at least once.
ESPN recently leaked the three repeat opponents for each team, however. Villanova will play Marquette, South Florida, & Cincinnati twice in 2012.
Additionally Villanova will host the following teams:
- Connecticut
- DePaul
- Notre Dame
- Providence
- Seton Hall
- Syracuse
Villanova will travel to:
- Georgetown
- Louisville
- Pittsburgh
- Rutgers
- St. John’s
- West Virginia
