The Jersey Shore Basketball league is now in playoff-mode and Italian LegaDue guard, Mike Nardi, is leading the Investors Savings squad in their quest for the title. Though he missed a string of games at the end of the regular season, the former Villanova star returned to the St. Rose gym in Belmar, New Jersey on Monday night to help his team get past Seaview Jeep 124 to 117. The winner takes on either Sterns Trailer or Asbury Park Recreation on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
Seaview Jeep was lead by former Notre Dame standout, Kyle McAlarney, who finished just two points shy of Nardi's game-high 36 points. Seton Hall's Fuquan Edwin also notched 35 points for Seaview.
Along with his points — 16 of which came in the third quarter — Nardi also had 13 assists and 10 rebounds to round out his triple-double.
