Football falls in TSN Poll

After opening the season ranked 14th in the nation in the Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS top-25 (and 13th in the coaches poll run by the Southern Conference), the 'Cats have dropped 6 spots after a demolition at the hands of Temple, to 20th in the poll. There is still plenty of hope for the Wildcats' season, however, and they will hope to get back on track this Saturday at Towson.

Eastern Washington retained the top spot in the poll as most of the top-10 took a beating at an FBS opponent in week one. William & Mary is still the top-ranked CAA school after dropping from third to fifth with a loss to Virginia. Richmond moved up to number-9 from sixteenth on the strength of a win at Duke. In all, seven teams were ranked from the CAA in the Sports Network poll.
