Welcome back to the 2010-2011 Big East Power Rankings. The rules are simple, we've invited the SB Nation (or friend of SB Nation) blog for each team to cast a vote. They rank the teams from one to 16 and then we bring you the results. Many thanks to The UConn Blog for hosting!
Sorry we are a day late with this - but can you blame us? We had the best two games of...until the next time these 4 teams mash it up! Seriously, nobody does it better than the BIG EAST in basketball. You get a genuine THRILLER between the Connecticut Huskies and your beloved Villanova Wildcats (Kemba Walker, I still hate you) and get to follow that up 2 hours later with your 2nd Top-10 matchup of the day with the Pittsburgh Panthers hosting, and banishing, the Syracuse Orange.
And as Andrew Porter says in the motherpost - these 4 schools do not like each other one bit. I can attest to that. As I said, nobody does it like the BIG EAST.
And you know what we learned? That these are clearly the 4 best teams in the conference, and 4 of the best teams in the country. I can't wait to head to The Dome and take on Syracuse on Saturday, win or lose. But please, win.
