BIG EAST Basketball Power Rankings: Week 11

Welcome back to the 2010-2011 Big East Power Rankings. The rules are simple, we've invited the SB Nation (or friend of SB Nation) blog for each team to cast a vote. They rank the teams from one to 16 and then we bring you the results. Many thanks to The UConn Blog for hosting!

What a week for Big East basketball! Fortunately, the latest victim of what Hoya Suxa tonight called 'The Cannibal Conference' - the Pittsburgh Panthers - met the sword too late for this edition of the power rankings. I'm sure they'll see a fall from the top spot in next week's though.

Syracuse took the brunt of the stick this week though - although in fairness to them, playing two Top-10 teams in the same week is something most schools deal with once a decade. In the BEAST? It's a regular occurrence - especially this season.

Your Villanova Wildcats? Up to #2 - I want to say rightfully so but I'm a little surprised we jumped the Connecticut Huskies after they beat us. But hey, after the pollsters screwed with us today, I'm gonna go ahead and pat the SB Nation folks on the back. Good job team!
