Welcome back to the 2010-2011 Big East Power Rankings. The rules are simple, we've invited the SB Nation (or friend of SB Nation) blog for each team to cast a vote. They rank the teams from one to 16 and then we bring you the results. Enjoy.
We're back with our Week 8 edition of the BIG EAST Power Rankings, and not much has changed at the top. Keep in mind these rankings were compiled before St. John's pulled the major upset over Georgetown last night, so they'll both probably see some more movement next week.
UConn sunk down to 5th following a whooping from Pittsburgh and an OT win over lowly South Florida. They've also got a trip down to Texas to face the Longhorns this week, so to avoid a further drop, they'll need Kemba Walker to do-it-all.
Villanova moved up to 3rd with the aforementioned drops of the Huskies and Hoyas.
As Andrew Porter mentions in the motherpost, what do we think of Cincinnati? They're one of the few unbeatens left, but they're best win may have been their last over Seton Hall. No clue what to make of them yet. Here are your rankings:
