I'm dedicating this morning's news roundup to one of my favorite Villanova Wildcats players - Curtis Sumpter. The first time I ever really sat down and watched him play was when Villanova upset then #1 Kansas in 2005. I was a high school senior and had decided to go to Villanova about a week earlier.
Sumpter was a beast in that game - tearing apart a Jayhawks team during a blizzard in Philadelphia. Injuries derailed him late in his career - but he's never stopped working to get his basketball career back on track, and it looks like it's finally paying off. Congrats Curt!
