Villanova Earns BIG EAST Shutout Victory
Villanova (7-9, 3-2) moved one step closer to securing a berth in the BIG EAST conference tournament with a 2-0 shutout victory over conference opponent, Georgetown (2-14, 0-5). Freshman Lauren Wilson (Hummelstown, Pa.) and junior Amy Jackson (Columbia, Pa.) were the goal scorers for Villanova on the afternoon.

The Blue team defeated the White squad by a count of 33-23 in the annual Blue/White men's basketball intra-squad scrimmage held here today at the Pavilion. Junior point guard Maalik Wayns set the pace for the Blue squad with 16 points.
