With the help of Dr. Jays, Ray Catena Auto Group and Villanova University, former VIllanova basketball star Randy Foye will be launching his 4th annual toy drive through the Randy Foye Foundation this Friday, December 2nd. A special kickoff event will be held at the Dr. Jays store at 138 Market Street in downtown Newark.
How can you participate?
You can make a donation at the following locations through December 20th:
- 3 Dr. Jays locations in Newark
- 138 Market Street
- 146 Market Street
- 795 Broad Street
- All 14 Ray Catena auto dealerships in New York and New Jersey
- Villanova vs. Penn basketball game on December 3rd
- Villanova vs. Boston U. basketball game on December 13th
All proceeds will benefit children throughout the city of Newark. Please donate age-appropriate toys for boys and girls grades K-8.
"For me, it's all about helping kids," said Foye. "I walked the same difficult path that they are facing now. I want to encourage kids to achieve their full potential and let them know that someone believes in them and wants to see them succeed. Around the holidays, it's especially important for me to give back and help put a smile on someone else's face."
