Villanova basketball alumnus Brian Lynch had a career playing for various teams in Europe between 2000 and 2009, eventually landing in the Belgian league with the Euphony Bree. He later became known as the husband of women's tennis star, Kim Clijsters. Now, however, he will be known as "Coach Lynch," after taking a job coaching semi-pro team, Cuva Houthalen in the Belgian 3rd National - A league.
His team is currently second in the league standings, and he will be in charge of the team when he isn't traveling to support his wife's career internationally. The team has been very understanding of his desire to travel with his family.
