Villanova junior point guard Maalik Wayns has been named 1 of 65 Candidates for the 2012 Bob Cousy Award. The award is given to the country's best college point guard.
In recent years, Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher have been named finalists for the award.
The list will be pared down to 20 on January 1st, 10 on February 1st, and 5 on March 1st.
