Semi-busy day yesterday in terms of Villanova news. Late at night 2 days ago, it was reported that Jay Wright reportedly offered a 2013 shooting guard who wasn't previously on our radar. Make sure to get familiar with Allerik Freeman.

The Villanova Wildcats have reported offered class of 2013 shooting guard Allerik Freeman, who is currently ranked as the #44 player in the class of 2013.

'Nova might be getting to the party a little late here, and judging from some interviews, Freeman seems pretty enamored with N.C. State, but it's worth keeping an eye on. We've also reportedly offered Terrence Samuel, who you'll remember has already confirmed interest in Villanova.

Jumping one more year ahead, a Top-10 prospect listed Villanova on his early list of schools he's looking at.
