The big news early this week is that tickets are on sale for the Villanova-Delaware football game this coming fall. The game is on November 19th at 12:00 p.m. at PPL Park. This game is especially big because it is really the first true audition that Villanova will have in its bid to move up to FBS football.
It's a certainty that the Big East will have a large party attending and watching the game, so the more support we can get out there, the better for the football program. And remember, you can also get tickets for the Villanova-Temple football season opener at Lincoln Financial Field at The Nova Blog's brand spankin' new ticket page.
The major news of yesterday of course was that the NFL lockout is all but over as the NFLPA has agreed to the proposed deal from the owners.
