My friend Drew who runs the tremendous music blog Songs For Sanity first turned me on to Hoodie Allen, and after listening to his first mixtape Pep Rally, I liked it, but I don't think I liked it enough to really follow this artist. Maybe I needed to give it another listen, but it just didn't seem to catch me.
Another mixtape later and I think I'm changing my mind a bit. Hoodie Allen just dropped his second mixtape, Leap Year, on Tuesday and I'm definitely feeling it a little bit more. Here's one of the more hyped tracks on the mixtape, the Twitter-inspired #WhiteGirlProblems.
