Rysheed Jordan Talks Recruiting, No Mention Of Villanova

Adam Zagoria caught up with 2013 PG Rysheed Jordan after the first day of the Reebok Breakout Challenge to discuss recruiting for the rising junior from Philadelphia. In the video above, Jordan mentions that he's hearing from a host of major programs as his stock continues to rise.

Pittsburgh, Arizona, St. John’s, Georgetown, St. Joe’s, Drexel, La Salle and Temple have all been in touch - but there is no mention of 'Nova in the interview despite Jordan being high on the Wildcats board. See Rysheed Jordan's Rivals recruiting profile here.

Right now it looks like Washington D.C. PG Nate Britt is the #1 target at that position for 2013, but Jordan seems ready to blow up as more of the major schools begin to inquire about him. Seeing as we'll already have Tyrone Johnson and Ryan Arcidiacono on campus, Jordan might make sense for 'Nova as Britt is a very highly ranked player who may be looking for immediate playing time.

Right now Britt is the much more polished player, but Jordan is local, and he's got NBA-level athleticism, even if his game isn't fully rounded out yet.

Jordan wants to commit by the end of his junior year, so he's one to keep an eye on.
