Apologies for the delay on this, but we've been prepping for Irene in New York City and I've been off the internet for most of the day. 2012 basketball commit Savon Goodman has apparently decommitted from Villanova and has re-opened his recruitment.

Goodman committed to 'Nova in late November, and has been putting up impressive performances all summer long on the AAU and camp circuit. His rising stock could be a reason why he may have had his head turned a bit here.

This news comes as a major shock to many since Goodman seemed very on solid to 'Nova since his commitment and even talked about getting Amile Jefferson on board to completely the Philly foursome for 'Nova.

Goodman hasn't publicly ruled out playing for Jay Wright, but right now, on the heels of Isaiah Armwood's transfer, this isn't the kind of news we need.
