LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony Headline Palestra Event

On Sunday September 25th the famed Palestra in Philadelphia, PA will be hosting a superstar event headlined by Miami Heat superstar LeBrone James and New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony. The LeBron/Melo team will consist of some of basketball's biggest stars including Chris Paul and Kevin Durant.

They'll oppose a Philly-oriented team led by Philadelphia 76ers player Lou Williams, as well as some local Philly graduates such as Hakim Warrick (Syracuse), Wayne Ellington (North Carolina) and perhaps even Markieff and Marcus Morris (Kansas).

Tickets for the game should be available later today at a site that has yet to be announced. If you follow Rahim Thompson on Twitter (@RTChosenLeague), he'll be tweeting the site where tickets can be purchased at around 1 p.m. ET. Tickets also will be on sale today at the Palestra box office. Lower level seats will cost $50, while upper level seats will be $35. The Palestra holds just under 9,000 for basketball.

I'd encourage everyone in the Philly-area to attend if you can - as much as I despise LeBron James, you'll only have a few chance in your life to get to see him play.
