The "Inbound Transfer Rumors" continue.
Following Tony Chennault's announcement that he will be transferring to Villanova from Wake Forest on the heels of Dylan Ennis making the move to the Main Line from Rice, Jay Wright is being tied to another transfer in this off-season.
Virginia Tech Freshman Dorian Finney-Smith is leaving the Hokies squad. Although the 6'8" forward seems headed to be at Gator at Florida, Villanova could get involved according to ESPN Analyst, Dave Telep on Twitter.
Finney-Smith was the #31 recruit in the Class of 2011 and averaged 6.3 points and 7 rebounds a game as a freshman at Tech.
'Nova was also tied to another ACC Freshman Forward transfer when Duke's Michael Gbinije mentioned transferring to Villanova. He ultimately selected Syracuse.
May 15 2p Update: Finney-Smith has told the Virginia Pilot that he has narrowed his list to seven schools; Iowa State, Florida, Marquette, Texas, Georgetown, Alabama and Villanova.
