Villanova athletics has fallen in love with the highlight reel, especially as a means of promoting teams and selling tickets. They released this slickly-produced highlight/hype reel with clips from the 2011 football season, and managed to find almost a minute worth of clips from the season that will not make you cry.
Football is hoping for a big bounce-back after 2011's terrible showing. Improves quarterback play will be necessary and they may need a young center to step up and play in place of Dan Shirey who could easily miss the season. That said, the offense looked good in spring practice and will only get better once the new freshmen arrive to provide the team with needed depth.
