The potent Towson offense that scored 22 against LSU was apparent against Villanova on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers defeated 'Nova, 49-35.
Towson quarterback Grant Enders threw for 269 yards including 4 touchdowns as the Tigers amassed 590 yards on Villanova's Homecoming game.
Villanova's John Robertson matched Enders' touchdown total throwing four for himself, but it wasn't enough- even though Kevin Managai ran for his third consecutive 100-yard game. The Tiger's tandem of the signal caller and Terrence West accounted for 266 ground yards and accounted for all seven touchdowns.
The loss knocks Andy Talley's squad down to 6-3 (4-3 CAA). The WIldcats return to action in two weeks when they host James Madison.
