Adam Zagoria is noting that 6'7" Forward Class of 2013 recruit Tyler Roberson has cut his college list to 3 after visiting Hoops Mania over the past weekend. He plans to make his decision in the next few weeks, before his season begins.

The Senior from Roselle Catholic in New Jersey, is a solid 4-Star recruit who notes Villanova along with Syracuse and Kansas as his final three schools after visiting the trio along with SMU. Additionally, he canceled an upcoming trip to Kentucky.

On Villanova, Roberson wrote:

Villanova - I visited Villanova this past weekend and attended their Midnight Madness. I had fun and really enjoyed it. Although I was only at Villanova for a day I felt at home and knew after the visit that I didn't need to take my last visit.

That is good news for Jay Wright's program, which would rocket up the 2013 recruiting rankings if Roberson commits. He is a huge talent who can provide a spark in the front court going forward.

In an interview with Scout last week, Roberson offered up the following when quizzed about Jay Wright's program...

It is pretty close to home and they are a good basketball program. I want to talk to the coaches and just see how I feel about Villanova and if it would be the right place for me.

Jay Wright has a solid recruiting group committed already for the Class of 2013. Kris Jenkins and Josh Hart would make a very good class, and excellent one if Roberson joins the already-committed pair.
