A source is telling ESPN that the seven Catholic schools of the Big East Conference- Georgetown, St. John's, DePaul, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, and Villanova have agreed to leave the conference.

"How?" is still undetermined.

Brett McMurphy from ESPN, who has been all over this topic, added that the Catholic-7 won't be departing the conference [without fees] for 27 months.
