When the 2012-13 Villanova Men's Basketball schedule was released, a hole was noted by many- who are we going to play at the Wells Fargo Center.

That question was answered today.

  • Louisville- Tuesday, January 22nd, 8p
  • Syracuse- Saturday, January 26th, 11a
  • Georgetown- Wednesday, March 6th, 7p
The Louisville and Syracuse games are slated for ESPNU/ESPN3 and the matchup with the Hoyas is slated to be on ESPN/ESPN2. The Cats had to keep their schedule at the Wells Fargo Center to just three games this season because the NCAA tournament will be using the arena as a site this Spring. In the event that the Wildcats make a return to the postseason this year, they would like to have the option of being selected to play near home. That would not be possible if they played more games there, as it would then be designated as a "home" court.

This is the 16th season that Villanova will be playing multiple home games at the CoreStates Center, First Union Center, Wachovia Center, Wells Fargo Center.

Ticket information will be announced later.
