2012 Stats: McAliney did not see action in the 2012 season.

Depth Chart Position: Currently third on the kicker's depth chart behind incumbent start Mark Hamilton (operates as both the punter and kicker) and junior Chris Gough.

How He Came To Villanova: McAliney was the placekicker and punter from Scranton Prep. He was 2-4 on field goals during his senior season, and 28-31 in extra points.

Expected Output In 2013: With Mark Hamilton an All-CAA candidate as both a kicker and punter, and Chris Gough in front of him as the kickoff specialist, it's unlikely that McAliney will see the field in his senior season. When it comes to kickers, however, it's good to have depth and should Hamilton suffer an injury and Gough isn't able to perform, it will be nice to have McAliney waiting in the wings.
