2012 Stats: Kpassagnon sat out his freshman season and will be eligible for a 5th year if and when the time comes.
Depth Chart Position: While he doesn't appear on the two-deep, Kpassagnon was originally recruited as an "athlete" (with some reports having him being as tall as 6'9") and first tried out at TE before switching to the defensive line, so he's still learning the nuances of the position.
How He Came To Villanova: Kpassagnon attended Wissahickon High School where he was a star on the basketball court before he began playing football. He chose Villanova over William & Mary and Lehigh, citing Villanova's prestigious School of Business.
Expected Output In 2013: As we've noted, the defensive line is stacked, and while Kpassagnon possesses tremendous upside, he's still behind Keelan Malone and Reggie Paris for reserve minutes. Once Antoine Lewis and Rakim Cox graduate following this season, we expect Kpassagnon to begin pushing for regular playing time.
