A new Villanova Basketball book hits the shelves (and Kindle) today.

The second book released in the past 11 months titled "The Perfect Game" takes on a popular topic- recounting Villanova's 1985 NCAA Championship victory over Georgetown.

The Perfect Game: How Villanova's Shocking 1985 Upset of Mighty Georgetown Changed the Landscape of College Hoops Forever

Penned by veteran Philadelphia Inquirer sportswriter Frank Fitzpatrick, the Pulitzer Prize finalist looks back at that 66-64 game on April 1st from Lexington, Kentucky.

In an era before the three-point arc and the shot clock, 8th seeded 'Nova made 9 of 10 shots in the second half (22 of 28 in the entire game) and downed the heavily favored Hoyas.

The effort gave those wearing Cinderella's shoes hope for this generation and the next.
