The BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse coaches have released their preseason poll where Villanova was tabbed in 4th Place.
Notre Dame is the pre-season conference #1 taking home 5 of the 7 first place votes. Syracuse, who is in the #2 spot received the balance of the first place votes. St. John's rounds out the top 3 ahead of Mike Corrado's Wildcats.
Georgetown, Rutgers and Providence round out the rankings.
Junior midfielder, Thomas Croonquist, was unanimously named to the All Big East Preseason team. Left Side Middie and 2013 captain, John LoCascio, and senior attack Jack Rice also were named to the All-Conference squad.
The Villanova 2013 season opens up in eleven days, when they host Stony Brook.
