Villanova receiving votes in AP Poll

Ronald Martinez

It took two wins against Top 5 teams in a week to do it, but for the first time in the 2012-13 season, Villanova is receiving votes in the AP College Basketball Poll. Six of them in fact.

Tim Griffin of the San Antonio Express-News pegged the Wildcats at #25, Cormac Gordon of the Staten Island Advance penned 'Nova at #24, and Blair Kerkoff of the Kansas City Star put 'Nova at #23 on his ballot.

Villanova's next opponent, Notre Dame, fell out of the Top 25.
