The Villanova Lady Wildcats Hoops team head into BIG EAST play on Sunday with a 10-2 record after finishing up the Dartmouth Blue Sky Classic with a consolation win over the hosts.
With losses only to Minnesota and Delaware, Harry Peretta's squad is sporting a #16 RPI in the nation and is receiving votes in the AP Poll.
'Nova has played a fairly consistent starting five of Laura Sweeney, Rachel Roberts, Laure Burford, Taylor Holman, and Jesse Carey throughout the season. Sweeney is leading the team in scoring & rebounding with just over 12 points a game and five and a half boards.
Sweeney, a fifth-year senior, is also leading Villanova in blocks (18) and steals (26) as the Lady 'Cats have outscored their opponents by more than 11 points per game.
