The 2014 schedule for Mike Corrado's Villanova Lacrosse team has been announced. Besides the BIG EAST opponents including the University of Denver, the Wildcats' slate will out of conference games against perennial powers Penn, Maryland, Princeton, Penn State, and Johns Hopkins.
The calendar includes "four contests against 2013 NCAA tournament teams and 10 squads that were ranked or receiving votes in the USILA and Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media polls at the conclusion of the 2013 season."
Villanova finished 7-8 in 2013 including a 5-1 BIG EAST record which gave them a share of the Conference Regular Season Title, but they failed to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament following a BIG EAST Tournament loss ot Syracuse in the final.
