Pettis plays both wide receiver and cornerback for JSerra, and is starting to gain notoriety for his play on the football field as opposed to his track & field accomplishments. Since many of Villanova's football players also participate in Villanova's T&F program, Pettis could be a good fit.
While Villanova has successfuly pulled athletes from the west coast, they may be facing an uphill battle for Pettis' service, as Bodie DeSilva of SanDiegoPreps.com has predicted Pettis ending up at San Diego St. on 247's Crystal Ball. He's a name to watch as football recruiting season rolls on.
