Mikal Bridges, who became the first 2014 verbal commitment for Villanova on June 25th, officially signed his national letter of intent for Villanova this morning at Great Valley High School. Bridges is a versatile 6'6" wing with superior athleticism. He's a good shooter from beyond the three-point line, and he's shown solid rebounding and defensive ability in the latest Nike EYBL season with Team Final.
Its about that time !! #LOI 📝

Bridges has previously expressed excitement for the recruiting process to be over with, so that he can focus on his senior season of high school basketball, where he's focused on winning a state championship.
Bridges has been, and should continue to be a frequent visitor of the Villanova campus given his proximity to the school. On opening night, Bridges attended the win vs. Lafayette along with 2015 guard and fellow Team Final player Donte Divincenzo. Bridges ties to the program could bode well for future recruiting within the Philadelphia-based AAU program.
