Happy Monday, 'Nova Nation! It's a holiday week but things are slowing down here in Villanova-land. The team, and I'm sure some lucky fans (side note: I hate you all), are on their way to The Bahamas. They will play their first game against USC on Thursday. Contrary to what the Villanova Athletic site would have you believe, the game will be shown on TV, specifically on AXS.
Hat tip to a reader who emailed me, but you should check ahead of time to make sure you get that channel. Some cable providers apparently hide it within a premium package.

Pirates, Edwin, execute in final seconds, top Hokies | South Orange Juice

Guardedly Optimistic: Georgetown Beats #10 VCU, 84-80 - Casual Hoya
Speaking of bipolar, this is the same team that lost to Northeastern a few days ago. I don't think even the Hoya fans know what to think about their team right now.

Vandy, Belmont, Lipscomb, TSU and MTSU are the proposed schools here. And why stop at Nashville? Should every city start something like this? I mean, I say go for it. I just don't think it will every catch on in any place other than maybe New York City.
