The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for December 11, 2013

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring seed projections, Lax All-Americans, and Maalik Wayns' comeback.

Huuuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaay! My final day on the west coast is here, and I'll be returning back to New York City for what (if my girlfriend is to be believed) a street filled with some combination of snow, sewer water, homeless person urine, and homeless people. Can't wait. Los Angeles really isn't as bad as the reputation, especially if you get up north to Malibu.

Major thanks to Corollary, who helped us get through Tuesday with this fantastic advanced stats FanPost. How will we get through Wednesday? And now, the "news."

Air Dates Set for "Inside Villanova Basketball with Jay Wright" | Villanova University Official Athletic Site
We're letting you know about this just in time for you to miss the premiere episode last night. Crazy to think that this has been on the airwaves for 13 years.

Sam McEntee Named to Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team | Villanova University Official Athletic Site
Honors on honors on honors for the XC team.

John LoCascio named Preseason All-American |
LoCascio was named to the 1st team - obviously a huge honor. Faceoff specialist Thomas Croonquist was given an Honorable Mention shout out - he's one of our most underrated weapons in our high-octane attack.

Former Villanova star Wayns latches on in L.A. |
Leek says he expects to be Chris Paul's backup when he gets cleared for game activity. Now that is confidence. But if you've been reading Noah's weekly alumni roundup, you already knew that spot was wide open for the taking.
