The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for December 19, 2013

New, 11 comments

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring no faith in 'Nova, a dumb-dumb being cleared to play, and more Qatar traveling.

Happy Thursday, 'Nova Nation! Today, I am dreaming of a Villanova Wildcats national championship run. Why, you might ask? Well, for starters, why not? But mainly because our next opponent is Rider, and we're going to win that and stay undefeated.

Also, this tweet caught my eye last night. I loved that team.

And now, the "news."

North Carolina's Leslie McDonald cleared to play, P.J. Hairston's future still in limbo | SBNation.com
I know all about the PJ Hairston stuff, but I didn't know about Leslie McDonland. How stupid can these kids be? I was on the soccer team and we had to sit through a few hours of compliance stuff where they covered EXACTLY THESE SCENARIOS. I can only imagine what that is like for a high-profile revenue-generating program.
