The newest AP Poll was released on Monday with Jay Wright's Villanova (9-0) team claiming the #10 position. 'Nova climbed up to the #14 spot in the USA Today/ ESPN Coaches Poll.
Last week, the 'Cats defeated UPenn and annihilated St. Joseph's (PA) in Big 5 action.
Arizona is the country's new leader at the #1 spot in both polls. No other school from the Big East is ranked, though Creighton is receiving votes.
Jay Wright last had the Wildcats in the Top 10 in February 2011.
Villanova returns to action on Sunday the 15th when they host LaSalle.
