On Sunday night, Justin Causa make the call to join Villanova's football program in the fall, and to switch positions from running back to slot receiver. He was a starter at running back for the Wyomissing Area Spartans, and helped to lead that team to the first state championship in Berks County history. He was an All League selection and an All State Academic pick as well.
Above is his highlight reel from the 2012 Playoff run.
Causa checks in a 5-11 and 178 pounds and averaged 7.7 yards per carry this fall. He didn't get as many opportunities as a receiver, but averaged 11 yards per catch. He will offer the Wildcats some depth at slot receiver next season.
I've decided to accept the opportunity to play football at Villanova University! #NovaNation
