The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for March 25th, 2013

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring La Salle making history, FGCU's dunking prowess, men's tennis (?), and Dylan Ennis being a teenage heartthrob.

Happy Monday, 'Nova Nation! We've officially entered the offseason, so other than the expected season recap posts, it's pretty much back to recruiting (I heard we need a big man) and lacrosse until football ramps up. Speaking of the lax bros, they notched a massive win over #4 Syracuse over the weekend to kick off their BIG EAST campaign in winning fashion and perhaps turn their season around.

On to the links!

La Salle into the Sweet Sixteen for first time since 1955 | Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia
At least somebody from Philly is getting it done in March. Tyrone Garland (who?) hit the "Southwest Philly Floater" with 2.4 seconds to go for the win.

High-flying Florida Gulf Coast's assault on the rim -
Notice that "jack up 3-pointers" is not in their gameplan. Seriously though, NovaDave you might want to avoid reading this post. It'll make you angry.

Seventeen Magazine swoons over Dylan Ennis - VU Hoops
We kick off the offseason with Dylan Ennis' inclusion in the "hottest guys in sports" category for Seventeen magazine. Do not do anything stupid this offseason, please.

Jay Wright proud of Villanova's season -
It definitely feels like we could have done a bit more in the tournament, and feels a little bit like a missed opportunity with how well Mouph was playing and our impending lack of height next season. Relative to our preseason expectations though, hard to be anything but proud of the way this group came together.

Buzz Williams is still the best -
Besides being a great coach, Buzz is also one of the top characters in sports. These are some pretty sweet dance moves.
