The dearth of Big Men for Jay Wright next season is widely known as noted in our previous article on Reynolds. With Mouphtaou Yarou and Maurice Sutton graduating, Daniel Ochefu will be the lone Wildcat taller than 6'7" next season. Reynolds or any big man could find solid playing time as a freshman.
Villanova is also interested in his friend and former teammate Yohanny Dalembert, also a 6-8 forward from Lower Merion. Reports from City of Basketball Love have claimed that the two big men hoped to play together in college.
The Bala Cynwyd native has visited the University of South Carolina campus and also has scholarships in hand from St. Bonaventure, Utah, and Seton Hall.
Reynolds plans to make his decision by April 24th.
ESPN Recruiting notes:
Reynolds is a physically gifted prospect with a tremendous basketball body. He has a long, athletic and chiseled frame with the muscle mass to bang inside the paint, the mobility to change ends and direction, and the athleticism to get his head on the rim to block shots
Reynolds describes himself as, "an active and atheltic player who can hit a 15-jumpshot."
