Four Villanovans successfully qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships this past weekend at the East Regionals in Greensboro, NC.
Junior Emily Lipari, finished second in her qualifying heat of the 1,500 meters with a time of personal best 4:15.89 to advance to the National Meet which will be held at the University of Oregon June 5-8.
The Men's side will also be sending athletes to Eugene. Junior Sam Ellison has qualified in the 800 meters for the second consecutive year. His 1:49.82 made him an automatic qualifier.
Sam McEntee and Rob Denault, both sophomores, qualified for the Men's 1,500 with times of 3:48.06 and 3:41.58. Denault's time was a personal record.
