Tony Chennault announced last month that he was going to be departing from Villanova and transferring.
Under further consideration, he has changed his tune. The University announced today that the 6'2" point guard will remain on the Main Line for his senior season. Head Coach Jay Wright noted, "Our basketball family is happy that Tony has had a change of heart and decided that he wants to complete his college career and graduate from Villanova."
Chennault was available to play immediately last season after transferring from Wake Forest. The Philly native averaged 3.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 18 minutes per game during his junior season in blue and white.
