2014 Recruit Robert Johnson to make unofficial visit

Following on the heels of a strong performance at the NBAPA Top 100 Camp last weekend, 2014 combo-guard Robert Johnson will be taking a trip to the Main Line campus later this week.

The 6'3" Chesterfield, VA native mentioned that 'Nova was "coming in strong" recently and the recruiting work by the staff is paying off; Johnson will be visiting Villanova unofficially on Wednesday the 26th according to NBC Sports.

ESPN has noted that Johnson possesses "the ability to knock down open threes, hit mid range pull ups and get to the rim on the break where he can finish with either hand."

Johnson noted, "I know there’s a good winning tradition at Villanova and they have a lot of good guards; guards that were similar to the way that I play and my size so I think that’s a good opportunity."

Wake Forest and Alabama are also in the recruiting picture.
