After a strong freshman season on the Main Line, Ryan Arcidiacono will play an even bigger role for the Villanova Wildcats next year. The upcoming USA Basketball U19 Camp in Colorado Springs, which starts on June 14, will be a valuable experience for Arch as his sophomore season is only a few short months away. If Arch can make the U19 team, which will be coached by Billy Donovan, he will get the benefit of playing for the U19 World Championship for Team USA in Prague against some of the best overseas players. Twenty-four players have been invited to the U19 Camp and there are 12 spots open. Although Arcidiacono did not make the U18 squad last year, he knows that experience can only help him this time around.
"The experience of being there last year does help. It also helps that I have a full season of college basketball under my belt. I'm just going to go out there to play Villanova Basketball and be the best player I can be."
