How He Came To Villanova: Shayne Jones committed to Villanova over offers from Central Michigan and Buffalo. He played his high school football at Immaculata High School, playing mostly cornerback where he was strong in run support. He was 1st Team All-Conference and All-County.
Expected Output In 2013: Jones should be able to break onto the field as he'll be playing a position that is breaking in a new starter in Cameron McCurry. If he can take advantage of the opportunities he gets, he could put himself in position to be a defensive regular in his first year on the field.
