#6 DB Jason Ceneus
Freshman, 5'9" 170 lbs.
New Rochelle, NY
2012 Stats: Ceneus is a true freshman, and played his high school football at New Rochelle High School where he carried the ball 84 times for 568 yards and 6 TD to go with 14 catches for 278 yards and 2 TD as a senior.
Depth Chart Position: Not currently listed on the two-deep, but he could push for early playing time in his career because of his defensive experience in high school.
How He Came To Villanova: Ceneus was named 1st Team All-County and All-State in leading New Rochelle to the New York AA State Championship. He was named MVP of the State Championship game. He also played lacrosse.
Expected Output In 2013: Ceneus starred on offense in high school, but he played defensive back as well so the full-time position change might come more naturally to him than others. Ceneus noted on Twitter that he was playing with both the 1st string and 2nd string in Villanova's fall scrimmages, so he looks to be a candidate for early PT.
