Not sure how reputable that source is reporting it, but Jerry Meyer did acknowledge. It's a safe bet that there is a least some pretty good interest from Villanova at this point. Take it with a grain of salt.
The elite prospect is a menace on the defensive side of the ball, using his length to disrupt play around the rim. The lefty (!) also possesses nice range on his jump shot, and could project at either the 3 or the 4 depending on how he fills out over the next couple of years. In early August, Yakwe was named the Most Outstanding Prospect at the Hoop Group Future All-American Camp.
Congrats to OSNA's 6-7 Kassoum Yakwe for being named Most Outstanding Prospect at Hoop Group Future All American Camp #pipeline #stud

Yakwe joins fellow NY native Rawle Alkins, elite point guard Tyus Battle, and forward Sedee Keita as 2016 prospects to receive an offer from Jay Wright.
