The Sun's Arizin: Villanova Wildcats news and links for January 10, 2014

Daily Villanova Wildcats links, today featuring Bracketology, Cunningham's bad body language, and DePaul's big win!

TGIF, 'Nova Nation! One more day to get through until we're back in action against St. John's at Madison Square Garden. Am I worried about this game? Hell no. And you wouldn't be either if you watched these guys slop their way through a double-digit loss to Georgetown, who lost by 18 to Providence, who we beat by 30.

So essentially if we use the transitive property, we should win by somewhere between 50-60, and I'm probably being generous. Right BosshogHazzard?

And now, the "news."

Bracketology: Villanova a 3-seed | SBNation.com
Apparently Dobber isn't a huge fan of the Big East. Villanova as a 3, Creighton as a 5, and Georgetown and Xavier a 8s. You would think that the conference champion, especially if it's 'Nova, is a lock for a 2-seed. Oh well, we'll change your tune!

Kevin Love torches Dante Cunningham, J.J. Barea | ESPN
Love had some choice words for Cunningham, who along with J.J. Barea sat and sulked at the end of the bench while the rest of the team talked during a timeout. The T-Wolves seem a little dysfunctional to me - but I agree with Love. I expect more from Cunningham, and I'm surprised to hear he was doing this.

Did DePaul win? | SBNation.com
And oh my God, yes they did! Double overtime, on the road at Butler! I think this sort of puts them on near-level ground with us by the transitive property. That goes both ways apparently.
